Fire! Fire! Grrr.

How's this for a Christmas miracle? Okay, pretty crappy, considering that most real miracles involve dogs surviving in Antarctica or little Timmy getting a new liver. I've survived another semester of college and hope to be done with the whole thing a year from now. Of course, I doubt you could give two monkey nuts for any of that stuff. The matter here is why I haven't updated since september. Well, the actual Christmas miracle is that my scanner started working this week. I have more than a few roughs backlogged for scanning, so I'll be getting those colored and posted as soon as possible.

On a side note, it seems that Mike predicted there would be a new page up today. I call it a prediction because he never actually told me to have one by today. Fun bit of trivia.

If you've paid any attention to the forums lately, you'll now be quite aware that we've lived up to my promise: here is an update. I'm pretty proud of the dialogue in this one, but, I must admit, if I had complete creative control here, every other line would have "canadian bacon" in it. I can't really explain it; it's just a mood I'm in.

Like I said on the forum, I'm not going to make some New Year's resolution to make sure the comic's regularly updated. Part of the reason is that resolutions are lame. Another reason is because I got Guitar Hero for Christmas.

At any rate, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and thank God this comic wasn't something I made up.
